WHO HAVE BEEN THE WINNERS OF THE FREERIDE WORLD TOUR 2022?
As you already know, the best freeriders of the year already have names and surnames, and that is that once the stages of the Freeride World Tour are finished: Baqueira Beret, Ordino Arcalis, Kicking Horse Golden, Fieberbrunn and Verbier we already have the faces of the winners!
If you have followed the various analyzes of the Freeride World Tour that we have done in Uller, you will already know a little about these freeride experts. However, in this article we are going to focus on the best ones and tell a little about them.
MEN'S SKIING
In men's skiing who has been crowned in the Swiss mountains as the best rider in the world has been Maxime Chabloz. This skier has touched perfection in his descents, which gave him great technique and security in what he did. All these details that the Swiss has been training since he started skiing have made him number one this year. In second place in the men's ski category was Carl Regnér Eriksson and in third place Ross Tester.
WOMEN'S SKIING
In the women's category, the protagonist will be Jessica Hotter , although she has been closely followed Hedvig Wessel throughout the competition. In third position we have Olivia McNeill. The truth is that Hotter was unreachable in the absolute ranking with two victories and a second position.
MALE SNOWBOARDING
If we go to the results of men's snowboarding we will find in the first position Blake Moller who, after finishing second in the 2021 final, reached the podium in Switzerland in Freeride World Tour 2022. They are followed by Camille Armand who was only a few points away from being first this year and behind the American Michael Mawn.
FEMALE SNOWBOARDING
Finally, the 2022 Freeride World Tour snowboard champion is the French Tiphanie Perrotin by a very small margin. Since the American Erika Vikander has worn the leading number during all the tests. However, the 500 point difference in the absolute ranking meant that Vikander had to settle for second place. In third place, but not least, Manuela Mandl has not stopped surprising us during all the stages with her great descents that have led her to be the third best snowboarder in the world. The interesting thing about the Freeride World Tour is that we can enjoy watching the best take skiing to extreme levels on slopes all over the world. We would also like to mention the amazing Aymar Navarro , who suffered an unfortunate fall when he was trying to make an impossible line downhill. He is currently well and in the process of recovery, as he has commented on his social networks. So, congratulations to all these riders for their skill on the skis and their effort in each of the stages. We will have to wait until 2023 to enjoy the best freeride, but until then we are here to keep you informed about the best competitions for the rest of the year.
